Unity House's Mental Health Services focus on housing, supporting, and rehabilitating individuals with mental illness to help them gain the necessary skills, supports, and resources to achieve independence and self-sufficiency. We offer:
Supervised Community Residence Housing / Auburn, NY
24-hour trained staff supervision and guidance in transitional housing setting
Rehabilitation counseling, support, and skill development provided in areas of
daily living, symptom and medication management, socialization and
community integration
24 hour, 7 day-a-week residential setting Respite Service designed to provide emergent, temporary shelter to Cayuga County adult residents with a mental health illness for one or more days (maximum stay: 21 days)
Certified Apartments / Auburn, NY
Transitional housing setting offering ongoing support to those who benefit
from daily assistance yet do not need 24-hour help / supervision
Rehabilitation counseling and skill development in areas of daily living,
symptom/medication management, socialization / community integration
Permanent Supported Housing / Cayuga County

Ongoing support for consumers housed independently in apartment settings
Services provided include case management and support, assistance finding
appropriate open-market housing, security deposits for same, assistance setting
up and furnishing housing, financial counseling with monthly expenses
Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Treatment / Auburn, NY

Classroom & community, including our new Family Consultation Program
Focuses on setting and achieving life goals in housing, employment, education,
socialization by developing skills and establishing support systems

Forum offering support, understanding, activities, reasonably priced meals
Wayne County Forensic and Dual DX Supported Housing / Lyons, NY

Supportive apartment program for consumers with mental health illnesses who
are exiting the forensic system (10 beds) and for consumers with co-occurring
mental illness/substance abuse (8 beds)- staff/care 7 days a week
