Unity House got its start in the historic Case mansion at 108 South Street, Auburn, NY in 1977. The fledging organization offered housing services to veterans with disabilities. Twenty-one beds were made available to this population, and a community need was met.

Over the next four decades, Unity House has significantly expanded to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The agency, which started with a skeleton staff and just 21 beds, has grown to serve 700 adults a day in six central New York counties, employ 400 staff, manage and operate more than 40 sites and programs, and oversee a $20 million annual budget.

We warmly invite you to these events to help us celebrate the past forty years and toast the next forty!
